My father would constantly tell me when he was a child, that he accidently broke the neighbors fence, and the neighbor hit him with his belt across the leggs. And he dare not tell his dad, because he would get hit again.

Ah the good ole days, now a days all these kids have their "swag", gangs and no respect for adults.

They can but its a question of damage. A 50 lb kid getting into it with a 60 lb kid isn't that big of a deal, and adults will probably break it up rather quickly. I got a few good punches in and I'm proud of the fight I gave.

A 200lb adult and a 50lb kid? A single punch would probably send the kid to the hospital and probably kill him.

No, but most parents suck at parenting in General today. And there is a correlation between when "child abuse" laws have gotten very strict vs when teenager crimes have risen, but in and outside school.

Could be a coincidence.

But I would hit a child. If he deserved it. And by deserved it, I mean if I see him do anything I would qualify as horrible. (I.E. torturing animals, beating up another younger child to a point where the punchbag cannot defend himself anymore, attacked me first, etc.) And by child I mean someone between the ages 13-18.

Nope. Want some, still just dating around at the moment though.

And if you think to use this as any "evidence" to a counter-argument, it is not. I firmly believe in physical punishment. I do believe there is limits though, like I wont just sucker punch a 12 year old for back-talking. And actual "punch" I would probably never do, but belt to the leggs or ass? Most likely.
