Anyone who votes 'no' is probably a virgin...

I think it is the other way around. Anybody that desparate to get laid will pay for it.

Its her medicine...she pays.

Interesting you feel that way spidey. From yagt.org posts, I know you have strong man/woman boundaries, so I guess this goes in line with it. I view it differently of course. Heck, to me, your statement is no different than saying, "Anybody that pays for dinner on a date is desperate to get laid. It's her food she's eating, she pays for her meal all the time."

Double protection? I'm basically just scared I guess 😉

yeah, I guess I'm just so used to providing so much else the least the woman can do is pay for her birth control.

But to me it is different than "buying her dinner desparate to get laid." That is my way of taking care of her...not to get laid, but to provide. I do however expect a woman to be able to take care of herself first and foremost so I expect she pay for her medicine.

Defining it as "hers" is shortsighted. Whether or not she takes it significantly affects you and your decisions.
What you define as "her" medicine prevents the both of you from creating a child. She's swallowing the phyiscal pill, but the treatment is your problem and interest as much as it is hers...perhaps more so. Once you're in a committed relationship, there's no reason not to share the costs. I wouldn't pay for a shallow relationship that isn't going to last, though.

I really don't see it that way. I don't like the attitude of "we split everything in half" as to me that seems very shallow and not really commited to taking care of each other. Its only like 20-30 bucks a month and if a woman asked me to help out with that it means she needs to get a better job or manage her finances better.

Imagine if I said "look honey, I cooked you a nice dinner and got a bottle of wine...you need to pick up half everytime I do this"

Just something wrong with that, IMHO.
