After reading this and watching a video about it some months ago, I want try Nut Load out to see if I'll enjoy eating some.

Off hand if use what is available at Ruler Foods I will have to change the recipe a bit. Since most of what they have is already salted, then I can't use salt for example. Would also have use peanuts and cashews as well.

So who has made/eaten something like this before?

I like nuts, (some) seeds, olive oil and eggs, but that doesn't look very appealing. It's pretty, but I wouldn't want to eat it.

I'd try it. It looks good, but expensive, and also high fat. You better have an active lifestyle to work off those calories.

I'd try it, but it doesn't look like it would go down well. Ever have a mouthful of nuts and then try to swallow? The texture doesn't play nice with the throat.

I think you can improve the texture by running the nuts and seeds in a food processor once or twice.

100g of flax seeds? You could rent your colon out as a hydromulcher.

Instead of anything resembling that, I'd make some chewy granola bars. Sweeter, lighter, less likely to crack a molar. Unless you're really trying to go zero carbs.

Nuts and seeds do have carbs in them. And beside this low/zero carbs thing is pretty much Fad Dieting...

Then if there's no great reason for eating tooth busting egg-nut loaf, I'd be more inclined to try something like this instead:

I used a combination of oats, almonds, pecans, Rice Krispies (to make them a little less dense), sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, raisins and dried cranberries.

I've made very similar breads with lard. Very dense, obviously. Good flavor and very filling. A few slices and cheese makes a meal.
