Um, the NY Post model is purposely wearing the dress in a way that makes it look more racy

Granted, even when worn as intended it is too racy, but still, the way that NY Post girl is wearing it is NOT the way it was intended to be worn.

Here is a pic of the same dress. Note that the straps over the breasts are stretched over the entire breast, not bunched up to show more skin like the NY Post pic.

Good find.

NYTimes: Trash. No freaking way would I ever go near anyone wearing that. Seriously.

Amused's find: Much better. Halfway classy.

It's the NYPost... 😕

Hmm....I have a sis, and if she tried to walk out of the house with that on, she'd be tranquilized...If some guy tried anything, he'd be shot...Hey, I get to go to my first prom this year!! Crap!! My vote is...well, would you like that in one word or two? HELL NO!!

The most fabulous thing about that dress is that it goes up to a size 30. Excellent...

Ahahahah!!! thats sooo true. and you know the ones that would really wear that dress would probably higher up in sizes!!!
You can still look sexy and classy at the same time, this dress is just skanky.

In my area the girl would be told to go home and change by the school officials, it wouldn't matter what the parents thought. We have a very strict dress code even in technical school and college (all public). All kids also are required to wear uniforms up to high school, too -- and the thing is, most of the parents and kids prefer it, no more socioeconomic class distinction.

What kids do on their own time is their business (as long as it's legal), but I hope parents are more sensitive about their daughters to not let them parade around like hookers. Bad things happen, and it's not the boyfriend, either.

I don't see how a girl could even "stay" in it dancing around at a Prom. She'd have to duct tape herself from falling out. Prom, probably not. As for an older woman, I don't see why not. It's a hot dress. Just not for a teenage girl.

quote: Students at Stuyvesant High School were just as appalled.

"Our school doesn't have a dress code, but I don't think any girls would wear that to prom," said senior Mary Zhang.

Obviously the A-cupped Asian girls in Stuy would be appalled.

Why not? Am I one of those blind "head in the sand" parents who doesn't remember what it was like when I was young? No, of course I am not so it would be incredibly ignorant of me to assume that my 17 year old daughter was not having sex or at least was interested and probably willing to some degree. It is a dress. If she feels comfortable in it then it isn't going to bother me, and like you said.....it is more than likely going to end up on the floor somewhere during the course of the evening.

This is the part that everyone who's "offended" forgets.
