Bah, if it's truly been frozen solid, it's FINE. A true deep freezer (the kind you keep in the garage or wherever) gets a lot colder than the freezer part of the refrigerator. I've eaten steak and chicken that was in the freezer part of the fridge for 7-8 months before. Didn't taste any different than fresh meat and I didn't get ill.
Defrost that piggy and look at it. If it looks normal, eat it. If it's got a lot of freezer burn (whiteness around the edges) throw it away. I'll bet it's fine eatin'.
