I wouldn't bring my dates to work, what fun is that?

The only time I dated a girl I worked with was when I was 16. It was a bullsh!t job so it really didn't matter much.

I'm doing that now. It's one of those things where our co-workers suspect something, but nobody says anything. The boss suspects something too. Today one of my students (I'm a teacher) saw me holding hands with my girlfriend. We're not really worried about it, because we are both planning to quit.

If you don't interact with her on a daily basis, unless it's just to get your freak on.

I'm dating a girl right now that I worked with. I wanted to ask her out for a while, but I have a rule to NEVER date co-workers.......and then she put in her 2 weeks notice, woohoo!

16 years we have been together. Worked together, same title/rank/seniority, different responsibilities, and got married. Where it was we had about 7 to 8 dating couples out of about 50 people. None of the female would drink the water either, pregnancy would result.

Sure, my wife was actually my boss when we started dating. She had to fire me when the higher ups found out. Coming up on 10 years in August.

Don't work closely? Sure.

short-term McDonalds-type job? Sure.

Of course if I really felt strongly about it I'd probably do it no matter what.

My thoughts exactly.

i want to say no, but thats like the only place i ever get to meet women...

i know its a bad idea to do it though. if i rarely saw them or something, it might be a bit different but if you work together and it goes bad...no thanks.

Right. The only places I meet women is Work and Church. I don't go to either to scope out women, but someone compatible does pop up from time to time. Meeting women is kind of hard when you've been out of college for awhile.

I have and while we were together it was great and when it ended it was the worst. That being said, I would consider it again, if I felt it had a good chance of working out.

Did you feel it had a good chance of working the last time, up until it didn't work?

I met my wife at my first real job. We'll be married ten years this July.

Also, were I single, I would not dismiss the idea of dating a co-worker.
