I am right now. We started dating about a year ago and just moved in together.

How do people at work deal with it? Is it awkward at all?

I met my fiance at work. We kept it quiet for a while, but then people took notice of the fact that we were always leaving together, showing up together, etc. When it started to become obvious I just approached one of the directors to let them know the situation. They didn't have a problem with it at all, and almost everyone I work with is a personal friend, so no issues there either.

I should also mention that we work on the same project and on the same team. We participate in meetings, design sessions, etc. together. There shouldn't be any issues so long as you can separate business from personal.

To me it wouldn't be a good option, depending on the time you have left while on the job.

No one seems to really care. We never really broadcast it but eventually people just found out and said they were happy for us. There are quite a few couples here and it's never been a big deal.

Very well put and eerily similar to me.

I tend to get myself into trouble when I dip in the company ink, if you know what I mean. Things can get awkward, no matter how 'professional' you try to keep it. That just makes the work environment more difficult to work in. There are couples who work where I do; some can relate to my experience, others have had better success with their relationships.

No, that would be awkward/trouble in ways I don't even want to think about.

There is probably 1 woman here that is date worthy, however she is managerial level which means hands off.

I was an A/C tech in Florida and I met my wife while I was working at her grandfathers shop. It was a bit awkward at first because I was 26 and she was 18, but it seems to have worked out pretty darn good for us. We will be married 13 years this monthand have two beautiful kids.

Peace

Possible sexual harrasement suit if things go bad, getting fired if the management finds out, breaking up and feeling uncomfortable around the office about seeing them everyday.

Me and this girl are currently doing a lot of "hanging out". It sucks though because I work management shifts at the restaurant and I hate having to tell her to do stuff better.

Could you go into more detail?
