Would you date a girl with a bad facial complexion?

Definitly depends on how bad it is and more inportantly how clean the person it. I know that cleanliness has some connection with complection, but I would rather date a clean person with somewhat bad complection that showers than someone with a clear face that smells. But it would definitly be a turn off if their face and hair was all greasy.

Actually, cleanliness has nothing to do with complexion. Acne is caused by an overabundance of sebum, a skin oil, that clogs the pores, and you can wash twenty times a day, all you will do is make it worse.

I have seen some of the dirtiest people with the most beautiful skin, I swear. I just wanna slap em.

Yes, doesn't make much difference to me. I have met some beautiful women who had a bad complexion at the time. I can make it go away.

Heh, this thread has an interesting timing..one girl in my engineering classes and I started talking, and she's decently attractive, but her acne really takes away from her appearence..about a month ago I saw her at a restauraunt where she playfully threw something at me - i think it was a napkin..my friend who was with me goes (after she left) "wow, that girl couldn't be any more hideous" I felt really bad for her, she's pretty nice also, she even took me out to dinner heh But no, I couldn't date her, its just too distracting.

All of this is kinda ironic, since I have such a nasty case of acne that I had to take to runs of accutane twice..my skin is fairly clear now though.

That being said, it wouldn't stop me from dating someone who I otherwise liked... Thumper doesn't have acne, but she does have a plenty of freckles...

I dated a girl with a not a bad facial complexion (real peeeerty girl) She had a birthmark on her chest The birthmark looked so much like a ROSE. I LOVED IT! So whenever we went to the beach it would show, was real great for me, but guys stared, not that they wouldn't stare at her chest anyway, but theres a added bonus. Which was all mine. Ohh well... thats all..

She CLAIMS, and I mostly believe, that she didn't really notice it at the time although I and everyone else did. It wasn't like I was a total pizza person like you'd see on a commercial for an acne medication - the sort of person who makes you feel pity for them when you see them - but it was definitely quite a bit worse than average. I suppose that she thought it would go away, and it did. Plus then I had a good body! Now I'm not as solidly built, but the acne went away, so oh well

Only in the last couple of years has it properly started to subside - in fact only when I hit 23 did the acne properly start to go away and now although I have the ocassional zit it doesn't bother me at all anymore.

My cousin had bad acne in high school and early years of college. He knows all about the 'effective' medications for acne. I personally was lucky because I inherited my mother's skin.... She's from Maine and has fair, non-oily skin....some kind of northern thing I think. Anyhoo....it turns out that my face only breaks out if I abruptly change my drinking habits or eat too much red meat.

Because to be honest, I never really noticed the acne! I saw Skoorb and knew right away that he was someone I wanted to pursue a relationship with. I don't know about love at first sight, but there was something between us for certain when we first met. All we saw was each other...we never looked back and 7 years later, we are as happy as can be.

However, when I look back at the pictures, I am truly stunned at just how bad his acne was. Perhaps his pure good looks just came through it all...or maybe I was just in love with the man underneath....

I personally would not.... but I guess it depends on the person. Some really hot chicks date very average (read "loser") guys, so the opposite is possible too.

If the girl is really awesome though (rest of the body and attitude), then go for it!

Beware though: fat and ugly girls that always whine and swear when not smoking a cigarette are NOOOOOOO!!!
