So if it falls out due to cancer treatment it doesn't look as strange as if she shaved it off?

For all of you that say no, what happens when the pretty haired girl you're dating gets married to you and gets cancer and has to go through chemo and loses all of her hair? Are you going to drop her?

Did you not see what I posted?

My reply was not aimed at you, although if you follow the logic of your stance then honestly dating a hairless girl would be no different than retaining one as her hair isn't the deciding factor in her worth to you.

Sure, why not? I haven't seen her for a few years, but I did know one woman who lost her hair during chemo and it never grew back. One cool thing about her is that she wasn't at all self-conscious about it and didn't try to cover it up. Seemed to me that she wasn't at all short on guys who had the hots for her.

If I were already in the relationship and my girlfriend lost her hair or wanted to shave it off (but have it grow back) for a good cause, I'd be ok with it.

Ditto.

Except it would depend on how long I was dating her and why she was losing her hair.

Of course not. If I married her, I'm going to be in love with her and want to be with her through thick & thin. By that point physical attraction won't be an issue, since we'll have a much deeper connection.

Correct..it isn't the final decision. If a girl was wonderful in many other aspects, her lack of hair would mean less to me. However..I would not actively pursure a bald-girl.

That's awesome. :)

Hell no! A girl's hair is very important to me when I'm looking for a potential mate!

A pretty girl is a pretty girl, hair doesn't really matter. If anything, you end up focused on her face. I've seen pretty girls with shaved heads all the time, but more often the girls are not that pretty to begin with, so they may benefit with hair to hide behind.
