Of course I would.

If I were INSANE.

You're the second person to personally insult anyone saying yes without so much as an explanation... correlation or coincidence? 😉

At any rate, I think for the most part the notion of a fetus being a person rather than a group of cells is due mostly to religion. I don't have any religious beliefs, or many of the other preconceptions which also stem from them, for that matter.

So, do you also believe that those practicing abstinence are also having abortions?

Then why the hell do you say that it is "abortion"?

Where the hell do you draw the line? lol... Everytime anybody has sex with any sort of contraceptive would be an abortion in your eyes, then?

/pulls out

/goes to hell

Essentially, yes.

Speaking of not giving an explanation (or at least one that makes sense)... 😛

So your first posts were sarcasm or are you merely contradicting yourself? 😉

LOL  Honestly I dont see what the big deal is...I belong to a religion that doesn't believe in abortion, yet I am ok with using the Pill or any other contraceptive for that matter. It's a heck of a lot more reliable than abstinence....

And you don't even know if the so-called-abortion via the Pill even happened--there's a very good change that it won't...meh. I have a friend who's dad is a gyno and also member of said religion, he has no problem with it. What method then, does one suggest to avoid unplanned pregnancy if not by some contraceptive?

Do you believe abortions are immoral or unethical?

The only method approved by such faiths in such a situation is abstinence. Anything beyond that (including condoms and birth control) in considered an abortion, and a sin. It really depends on your particular faith. I'm a catholic, and I know that the catholic religion considers any use of any contreceptive a sin. Doesn't mean that I abide by this ruling, but I know that it's there.

Err... I never got that idea?

I'm just saying that if you consider taking the pill or wearing a condom to be an abortion... that's just pretty fscked up, man. 😛

The truth is that it isn't an abortion, nomatter how you look at it. Sure, the egg is alive.. but if it does not become fertilized in the first place, it is doomed to death anyway.....

Each time you flog the dolphin, are you having a few thousand abortions?... 😛 It's the same thing. Either version is useless by itself.

I don't believe the Catholic church categorizes contraception as abortion.

Again, as far as I know, that's the way the catholic religion sees things. Basically, your sperm has the possibility of becoming another person. Thus, each time you "waste" such sperm (masturbation, condoms, birth control), you are destroying the chance of creating a baby, and as such are committing a sin.

It all just depends on your faith. There is no "stupid" way of viewing things, and no "right" or "wrong" way either. It's just a matter of personal preference.

Edit: and I don't think the catholic church sees contraceptives as abortion (as stated in an above post), but they are definitely a sin.

How is a pill more effective than abstinence? 😕

"mommy am I a product of your sin?"

"yes dear."

nnoooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
