HELL YEAH I'd choose to exist!

I have hundreds (thousands?) more recipes I have yet to conquer. I'm currently contemplating how I'm gonna bake a killer Tiramisu Cheesecake.

My Tiramisu looks like this (for those of you who like pics!)...

Assembled (it takes a couple hours to make); this is right before I stuck it in the fridge for 24 hours

Sliced up (the next day), this is what heaven meets earth looks like :p...

It has gotten rave reviews from everyone who's ever tried a slice. ;)

I'm pretty sure I suffer from some sort of anxiety disorder since I'm always convinced I'm about to die from something terrible, but I still love being alive. We were "dead" for eternity and we will be dead for eternity, so it's nice to have a little bit of existence in between all that.

I think so many people look at life and think "whats the point" and I think they are missing the point. There is no point to life really. Everything you do won't mean crap to the universe, but I find that liberating. The point is to exist and try to enjoy it.

Nope. Been depressed too much of my life and even now that I'm not, I don't think it was worth being miserable for so long.

If undecided, waiting until a natural death is about the only time when you'll have sufficient information to determine if it was worth it, which conveniently comes right about when it's too late.
Yes, at times, life can easily skew to the "not even remotely close to thinking about approaching the realm of nearly being worth it." Depression sure does leave a hell of a mark.

I'm not sure whether to thank you for confirming that there is no point, or to argue that the point being to exist is illogical. hah.

As for me, I don't really "enjoy" life as such, and my existence feels pretty pointless. I certainly wouldn't ever kill myself, but if I could choose to just spontaneously stop existing, then I definitely would. I often wonder if that is a normal way to feel or not...
I'm surprised that you see such a difference between killing yourself and stop existing. In the end it's the same result, sounds like you don't know an easy way out so you don't bother or just too lazy? I think continuing to exist until you die of natural causes would be more work than killing yourself right away though.

The only way I could be in the state of needing to "choose" to exist, would be if I did not already exist. I cannot make a choice without actually existing. Therefore existence is a constant, it is a law.

therefore dumb question and I award you zero internets.

Pretty much. Not sure what the bolded part means though.

Not speaking for jammix or anyone else, but... the potential for accident/abortion/failure during attempt at nonexistence is enough to discourage many from trying. Of course continuing to exist is more work, but there's a huge risk of making things /much/ worse for yourself.
