Sure, I'd go for it. The GTP G6 with the 3.9 liter V-6, Grand Prix, and Malibu look good to me. I currently own a Ford, but have owned GM in the past. GM has always been reliable for me. I had a Cavalier a long time ago that got 230,000 miles on it.

Oh, I see. Thank you Jackass.

also, as to the OP,

ya, if i could get $2500.00 of employee discount pricing, i'd have no problems buying a GM.

the Pontiac G6 looks pretty sweet. the new chevy Impala SS with 5.3 v8 shouldn't be too bad.

We just bought a G6... it is very nice :)

I've had a G6 GT since June and have already put over 7,000 miles on it. No complaints from me. :)

Hey, whether or not you believe it... is up to you. As i said before, i meant no harm by generalizing. Its the truth. You guys are right, you dont have to be japanese to buy japanese cars. Either way, you are (on average) not the same size as most americans. Whether that be fat, or skinny. That being said, full sized vehicles make sense to us where smaller sized vehicles fit best for you. I have had japanese cars, and while they were the most dependable vehicles i have ever owned, i still prefer a full sized vehicle because im just a big guy. You cant eve shoehorn my big ass in a mustang.
As i said, sorry about the generalization, but if you read reports, you will find that it is true. Sorry to break the news to you.

Never owned one, but I've liked the looks of the recent Buick sedans.

I had a 95 Saturn that I bought brand new and it was a great little car, but I can't say whether that quality has held up.

Only Pontiacs I'd consider would be the Soltice and the Vibe. Otherwise I've always thought Pontiac was just like Chevy. Crap.

Let see who is the retard here:

1) "GM is a good company and they make good vehicles" Yes, good at losing billions of dollars, yes BILLIONS, in the last few quarters and have to use gimmicks to make sales. Have you ever work with UAW union workers? I did for almost 10 years and I saw with my own eyes how NOT to build a vehicle by the union folks.

2) "I own one Yukon and it's a great vehicle". So you own "one" GM vehicle, and we should listen to your opinion as gospel, yeah sure. Next.

3) Asians aren't the average size. Yup, they sure are not fat asses so they don't have to drive huge vehicles then cry about how expensive gasoline are.

4) "Read the reviews". Yup, sure did read it. Did you read the reviews from Consumer Reports? GM vehicles didn't do very well. I am sure you will say "CR is biased on Japaneses vehicles". Last time I checked, they are American based publication and they never accept any commercials/endorsements from any manufacturers.

Again, who is the retard now? LOL.

For the record, I won't be the uneducated fanboi and say ALL domestics are craps and ALL imports are great. They all have the goods and bads. Just have to pick and chose which one is best for you based on your own standards.

<<<----- only buy any GM vehicles if it is a Vette and heavily discounted.

My family has had gms since 1980's. At least that is as far as i remember. We have had fords, hondas, toyotas, and dodges. To this day, my dad, who has owned the fords, the hondas, the gms, etc still buys gm. There is a reason for that. He owns a 2k5 silverado that he paid cash for. He could have chose a different brand. But simply the best vehicle for his uses is gm. Period.
I have owned myself a toyota, two hondas, a dodge, and a gm yukon now. So my experience with vehicles i would say isnt limited. Sorry bro, but you lose.
The reviews from Consumer Reports do say that the gm didnt fair as well as some other manufacturers. Sure. But then again, when you buy hardware for your computer, do you only read one review? If so, good job buddy.
If you buy a vehicle for gas mileage, you have no business buying a vehicle the size of a bus. Period.
The retard still lies in your pockets. Because in all actuality, you know nothing about gm. Nor do you know anything about their vehicles. Also, did you know the engine in the ws6 transam is the one in my yukon?
Learn your products boy.... before you get in too deep in a vehicle discussion about gm with me bud. I know my sh1t.
Im just so sick of hearing all you close minded individuals bagging on a company that has done well for our economy. Sure, we have ups and downs. But they arent enron. You can take that one to the bank. GM has their hands in more stuff than you know of. Believe me, without them, there would be alot of products you wouldnt have.
Bottom line. I would buy certain gm vehicles. There are some i wouldnt buy. Simply because of the motors they put in some of them and also because of my size and my families size.

gm pisses me off with their laying off of so many people they extending the "employee discount" to everyone.
what complete asses.
which wouldnt bother me so much if everyone i knew who bought a GM in the last 4 years didnt regret it constantly.

Hey I own 2 GM cars, and previously I owned several Foreign made vehicles to include a loaded honda accord 2 door, a mazda B2200, and an acura TL, and a Toyota 4Runner. I have also owned a Chevy S10 which was a great little truck.

Currently I own a Chevy Trailblazer LT and a Yukon. Both of these vehicles suit me better than any vehicle I have had in the past. They are very well designed for the american driver and have served me well. I have the pep I want in the pedal, lots of room to haul stuff which I do often, and nice comfy seats which fit me well. I am 6 foot 2 and about 210 lbs. I am 29 years old and enjoy cruising to work in my Trailblazer (the Yukon is the wife's). I would buy another vehicle from GM in the future. I do believe my trailblazer and the Yukon are the 2 best cars I have owned so yes I would buy another GM vehicle.

Tbird, let me ask you these very SIMPLE questions:

1) If GM and its vehicles are so great, why GM is losing BILLIONS of dollars in the last few quarters? Look at here.... GM is losing $$$$$ big time

2) If GM and its vehicles are so great, why the market share of GM is the lowest in years, even with all the market tricks and gimmicks? GM losing market share

3) Why its credit rated as JUNK, yes, almost worthless. Look here.....GM credit rated junk

If you want a debate, bring the FACTS to support your POV, don't bring your emotions and opinions and make you look like an uneducated retard fanBOY,

I bring facts and links to support my POV, what do you bring? get it...who is the retard now.. BOY??????

asian cars are not small at all. and like american asses they've grown through the years. the accord used to be the size of todays civic, now its huge. same with the camry. they've widened the seats and everything to compensate for our obesity;)

as for gm,i think they are competing with hyundai now. price are both low, but hyundai fixed their quality issues it seems. gm doesn't seem to have
