so basically my answer would be no way
wait until they can pass a crash test

LOL on the same site the F150 and the Isuzu Rodeo/Honda Pasport both failed as bad so what really is your point? The latter two are high sellers as well especially the F150. Imagine if that truck is loaded in the rear what would be left of the cab of the truck 😱

You sort of have a point, but those are old models. Ford and Isuzu have redesigned their vehicles and I know that the new F150 does very well in the tests now. I'm not sure on the Isuzu, but overall I wouldn't buy anything that did poorly in a crash test. I'm not going to single out something just because it's from China.

Ok what year was the test done and what year is the Isuzu?? Do we know that the China made one wasnt redone since the test as well? I am going to have to guess that the test was done around the 2003 year since that was the year the F150 was that they used. And alot of cars not only that one still fail to this date. The Chevy Lumina van has one of the worst crash testing rating ever but people still buy them.

The company has been around for years and not new like when KIA or Hyundai started out. I personally know of a couple huge auto dealers in the Chicago area that had tried a few years back to get some of these imported and open up dealerships for them. How do I know? I was hired at a time they thought they were going to get approved to be thier service manager for them. I think they will sell just like any other and if the dealership that was going to hire me (one of the largest dealerships of many different brands) was going to bring them in and open a dearlership so would others.

They obviously have proven themselves in China or they wouldnt of been around as long as they have already. Just need to get them here, allow dealerships to open all over the US and they will sell. I dont care what brand or make you buy, chevy, ford, etc, they all have made in china crap in them so this really shouldnt be that different other then you will get more for your money. And to compete will have to offer one hell of a warranty and if so will kill the big three having a good warranty and price.

I really would have no problems buying one of the first ones to come over here provided there is a dealership nearby to service it. Once the warranty runs out I will take my tax return check and buy another new one 😀
