Would you be offended by this joke?

I was at a camp-fire with some people I associate with (not close friends, but friends) and one of the guys was like "Man, I would just love to pay someone to go take bat to a car and just wail on it" And another was like "Dude, I would totally create my own business where you get to wear some safety goggles, gloves, and get a bat to just run around in a room with vases and just smash them!"

And then I said

"Wouldn't it be funny if you actually did open that business and ran it just like you said, except you hid kittens in each of the vases?"

Although I do have to wonder how you even jumped to that train of thought anyhow... random. Then again, the part before your part was even more random.
I conclude drugs were at play. Then again, if they were, cannot imagine anyone would have been offended, too busy laughing at the sheer randomness.
