Having only seen T3 and part of T2, I'd still be dissapointed if he weren't in T4. I just associate him with the role.

I also don't really think you can call him flabby and old. He might not be in as good of shape as he was, but he's still in better shape than >99% of the men his age.

yep...72 milion is pretty respectable. Glad to see Charlie's Angel is not doing so great (67 million in 2 weeks) can't stand the actresses and the hype.

First, who the heck is Arndold Schwarzenegger? :D

Second, yes, if Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't in T4 (assuming it gets made) in some role, I would be dissapointed. It wouldn't really be the same without him.

Hmm... They wouldn't really need him in T-4, would they? They could just do the whole thing with CG with the battles between humans and robots.

Of course, it'd end up just being another action movie, and not a Terminator movie.

i think vin diesel would be good as one of the earlier model terminators with plastic skin, him and arnold share the same lack of acting ability but look good as killing machines

If T4 is as well written as T3 then count me in. I seriously didn't think T3 was going to be as good as it was but it surprised me (and everyone who i've talked with as well). I recall an article about T3 when it was in pre-production that T3 would leave it open for T4 and that they had basic concepts down with what T4 would entail.

But I think Ahnuld would have to show up in T4 at some point (not as a human either!). For a 56 year old... he's pretty damn respectable. Also I agree with EvilYoda on that Ahnuld wouldn't need to be in the entire movie.

I really hope T4 is a possibility. The terminator series is probably the greatest unintended trilogy ever in my opinion. The buzz after Hulk was pretty bad and it dropped like some 67% after its first week. Word is considerably (a whole kcuf load) stronger for T3 so hopefully it will have lasting power in the theaters and make some money!

if they did the whole movie without arnold and the last thing they did was kidnap and reprogram him to send him back to T2 then i would be ok with that. One thing that amazes me is how stupid Skynet is...just send a terminator after him now... people who saw the movie no what i am talking about. game over man, game over.

My guess is sending one back takes up so much power that it would be nearly impossible to send two back at once. Either that or you're questioning something us mere mortals aren't supposed to know.

I think Arnold would most definitely have to be part of T4 (even if just a small part).

As for the 'weak' opening weekend sales....I went to see it at a major cineplex (20 screens)
on July 4th expecting to have to stand in huge lines and possibly not even get a ticket (this was 9pm)
but the ENTIRE Cineplex was EMPTY (doh.....fireworks maybe?!?). My wife and I were part of an
audience of about 30! This entire weekend was a very slow one for retail (at least around here....Cleveland, OH).
Hopefully this next week will be much kinder to Ahnuld. It was a great movie and there is no way in hell
they will leave the series open like that (I hope :) ).

I agree with others that without Arnold T4 would be lame. You can't beat that Austrian accent. But isn't Arnold pushing 55 or something? If Arnold is not in T4 then there should be no T4. Just like Lethal Weapon without Mel @ Glover or Die Hard without Willis.

Btw IMO T3 was a better action flick then Reloaded.

They don't need him, it should be staged in the machines time, with the machines unsheated with skin f'in up the resistance, then eventually pwning the machines

Doesn't every T-800 look like Arnold? So there should be a ton of him on the screen at the same time.

Exactly. At the end, he told connor that they would see each other again. If they make another, Arnold WILL be in it. However, he may not be the main focus. In fact, it's not all that likely that he will be because now that the war has started, we will see the fleshless terminators and the flying earlier models more. Arnold will probably only show up during a few key parts (maybe a total of about 20 minutes at the most). The reason is because Arnold was always sent back to save John. Now that John is safe and the war has started, there's no need to protect him anymore so no more time travel.

My understanding is that after Judgement Day, the machines don't need to bother with that whole 'living tissue on an machine' disguise cuz blending in isn't a priority. However, I do believe there would still be a few assassin terminators...sent to infiltrate John's resistance and kill the leader. I bet they could be disguised as anybody, though.

Arnie should be in T4. Here's the easy way to justify it: Skynet used a real human model to base the T101 design on.
