yeah they only raked in about 44 million on opening weekend...that sounded sorta disappointing.
on a side note, "As speculation swells that Arnold Schwarzenegger may run for the office of the governor of California, one has to wonder if he will be able to return for this fourth movie, if Warner Bros. decides they want to make it really soon (presuming he actually wins, of course

...i think it's almost a shoe-in that he would win.i dont think he would really belong in the 4th one...the 4th one would be about the fight against the machines, not about saving john conner.

He has died in each of the other two moives. Remeber the Arnold in termanator was a totally differrent arnold than in the second, they were TOW DIFFERENT Arnolds. Now having said that I don't know if I would want to watch a fourth because I haven't seen the third yet.

They should not change the lead characters in any movie, you just tend to associate an actor with that role. If Arnold wasn't in T4 they would probably try to get someone else to do the role he would play, and it wouldn't be the same.
Of course, just becuase it shouldn't be done, dosen't mean that it dosen't happen often.

Yeah, i would be, but I don't think he would have a huge role in T-4, due to his age...the storyline would probably be around how the battle/resistance goes, stuff between John Connor and Claire Danes' role...Arnold would only be in it 2/3rds of the way through or at the end, when the situation mentioned in T3 would come about (don't want to spoil anything for people that haven't seen it yet)
