Would there be a big diffrence between an all copper heatsink and a mix?

There isn't much difference, but they are both on the old side, think about a newer design if i were you.

Like the design that blows across from the cpu instead of toward it, those cost considerably more, so the ninja's cool better than Zalman's coolers?

No, they don't.

close to 40% more, do they work a lot better?

I meant zalman coolers, yeah I might consider getting a scythe ninja.

The Arctic cooling 64 or whatever it's called gets good writeups and is relativly cheap, worth considering at the least.

The all copper one is probably a lot heavier than the hybrid one.

I believe copper is supposed to conduct (draw up?) heat better, while aluminum is supposed to radiate better. (?)

I'm considering a scythe ninja, but I'm unsure if it can fit in the case.

I recently purchased a 7700 Cu, and I found it to be pretty heavy. If you were dead set on the 7700, I would get the Al-Cu version. It will be much lighter and perform almost the same.

I have also used the 7000 Al-Cu and found it to perform almost as well as the 7700, plus it is quieter. I would actually recommend the 7000 over the 7700.

That being said, I just got a 9500 and this thing is amazing. It's quiet, and cools amazingly well. Perhaps consider this or a newer heatpipe cooler such as the Scythe Ninja already suggested over the older 7x00 series Zalmans.

As of now, I plan to use a scythe ninja in my next build.

The scythe ninja is a good cooler but with my A8N32 the fan sits on top of the RAM, i suspect that RAM overheating is one of the main problems i had with overclocking my system.

Look at the SI 120, no idea on the price but if i were doing it all again i'd have gotten that instead.
