OK, so here's the deal. I was driving along behind a car today when I saw them throw out their mcDonalds bag out their back window. I flipped them off and honked my horn and screamed "****** you" appropriately so they got the picture, but then I thought to myself.... and that's a bad thing.
Surely, the earth as an entity would have standing for civil damages against these individuals. After all, if someone threw a McDonalds bag on me, and it was forced to stick to me for a very long time and damage my health, I would definitely have standing. So the earth has standing too.
But since the earth can't talk, but it IS an entity, are there any loop holes where one could take these individuals to court representing the earth?
Just my mind wandering on a Friday afternoon.
