Why would you buy two? As long as they're Jaspers I doubt you'll have RRoD problems. Might as well put the extra $199 to buy some games instead.

Alright, so i guess I'll consider an Xbox and a PRP instead of getting two. I've heard that now with the new jaspers the problem is no longer RROD but E74. Should I still get a 360 or stick with my PS3 and get a bunch of games for that?

I think this E74 stuff going around is being blown out of proportion.

Alright, I guess I'll get the Xbox and a PRP from Best Buy(I hope the PRP is multi-use just in case my luck is really bad).

Good lord Microsoft is geniuses. They build a shitty product that people inexplicably want so bad that they're willing buy TWO of them just in case one breaks!

Someone here said Wal-mart does an on the spot, in-store swap out for you, so you won't even have to mail it off, if it bricks while under their coverage.Originally posted by: LW07
Alright I got a Red Limited Edition 360 from Walmart with a 2-year extended warranty that begins after microsofts 1-year warranty ends.
Here's hoping it doesn't mess up.

Not "inexplicable" at all - it's very easy to explain. Aside from the high failure rate it's a great system with a great online service and a great collection of games. Yeah it's a shitty quality product (or at least has been), but it's an excellent game system.
