What's more expensive, a retail storefront or a shipping warehouse? No retail outlet will be able to match everyday prices of their online competitors because of overhead.

someone will pull it off. that's the day I will see Best Buy go bankrupt, as far as computer components go.

I would shop at BB if they had prices similar to newegg.com

I currently shop at BB but only when I find excellent deals. I'm one of the BB "undesireables" that look for good deals.

Saying no to the extended warranties all the time would get old. Other than that, sure.

I would, I don't give a shyte about a stores perception, policy, etc.. as long as I can get the best price for the item I want then I'll go there.

But having a retail store that sells what new-egg sells, and having the same prices...

that would be awesome.

Of course, but that's like saying would you sleep with Roseanne Bar if she looked like Heidi Klum.

Heck no.

no.

no way.

no.

The main reason I buy from newegg is because I get treated right.

Yes, I would take Newegg prices + tax against Newegg's prices + shipping anyday.

There is no B&M store that can hold a candle to Newegg.com's selection though. Best Buy has its place, but Newegg.com gets the vast majority of my computer parts buying dollars. Microcenter (the B&M version) is great for the occassional bits and pieces needed for a build however. I hate paying $5 shipping for an adapter cable, Arctic Silver 5, or some nuts and bolts.
