would Best Buy attract you

No best buys around here, but I'd definitely buy from a hypothetical B&M that matched newegg's prices.

Sure. Cuts down on the shipping's always nice. I still have to pay the CA tax no matter where I shop though.

Maybe. Newegg has been good to me over the years, so I would probably continue to give them my business anyways.

definitely, if there's something I want I'd rather have it now. so yeah I'd take the bus to Best Buy instead of ordering online.

why would anyone say no to this...

Hey! What about this, if you had a choice between being the top scientist in your field and getting mad cow disease what would it be?

Uhhh...of course I'd choose to be the top scientist in my field...

Oh good! I was worried you would choose mad cow.

Why would you think that?

I guess I'm just a worrier.

Neweggs customer service beats Best Buys best try at any service. But if they were willing to match neweggs prices, offer easy Costco style rebates, and offer plenty of hot deals then I would shop there every now and then.

Don't care much for best buy. They always seem to have stupid people on the floor, (maybe the rejects from Circuit City or Comp USSR?) and since they pretty much sell everything at MSRP, there's no good buys at Best Buy...BUT, with the provisions set down by the OP, (same products & prices as NewEgg) then yes, if only to save on shipping, since being a Kahleeforneeyan, I pay sales tax either way...
