lol at Saren as an "awesome end boss fight". Those are some serious rose colored glasses you're wearing.

Not to mention that for all the complaints about a "deus ex machina", nobody seems to mind that filling Saren with lead magically obliterates Sovereign's shields 😛

That one is easy; as Saren shoots himself; Sovereign takes over the body with his mind; leaving him vol when you hurt Saren's body 😉

And compared to what ME3's ending is/boss it is Epic 😀 😉

No. The only advantage of IT is that it isn't *completely* out of nowhere. As an actual ending it's still cheap, renders your decisions irrelevant, and would have ignited massive fan backlash.

Not really - it would allow them to actually give us an ending that worthy of the damn not some craptastic pile we have now...

Not as many that were as pissed off with what Bioware did originally - I was part of hold the line - most there not all; but said; they'd easily take IT over the shovel crap Deus Ex Machina ending....

Hell; we even said we'd buy freaking DLC ending *though most admitted that might be the last dlc we'd buy*

They have perfect easy way out; it also make more money on the game. For whatever illogical reason; they didn't do it.....

Then they could of actually ended the game - but from what it looks like EA/Casey wanted it open ended enough to make another game/series of games......

Actually look at all the proof in the story that perfectly lends to the IT theory - they easily could of done it and it would of saved them from all the crap they have now; they would of sold a lot more DLC than they have and actually could of given the game the ending it deserves.

Along with actual boss fight that was worthy of the game......first two games; awesome end boss fights........ME 3? grrrrr we get nothing and worse insulting Deus Ex machina ending that has nothing to do with the damn game...cheapens what the Reapers were and destroys what was one of the best Sci-series in a generation.....

"Proof in the story"? If we're talking about actual details, the Prothean VI Vendetta is able to detect indoctrination and confirm that someone isn't effected by it. It says Shepard is not indoctrinated, which means as late as the assault on the Cerberus base Shepard was not indoctrinated. Immediately after that battle, the assault to take back Earth is launched. Indoctrination is a slow process; there's not enough time there for Shepard to become indoctrinated.

It doesn't even have that anymore, with the Leviathan DLC. IMO the Leviathan DLC properly sets up the reveal at the end of the game. Too bad it wasn't in the actual game...

I'll agree with Age of Empires Online, that definitely cheapened the franchise. Especially when i really enjoyed AOE3...Sadly, i really didn't get into the franchise until AOE3, and the graphics just weren't enough up to par for me to go back...

Anyway AOEO was a big disappointment for a sequel i was waiting a long time for.

Also, this probably won't be popular, but Borderlands 2 really bothered me. Which was very shocking because i totally loved the original. The problem with the game was...it was almost exactly the same as the first one, the sidequests are almost completely forgettable, and the main storyline was not at all interesting either.

That, and i really hated the over the top nature of humor. It's just so bro-tastic, and i hate that kind of stuff. Just not my type of humor. About the only thing i remember actually finding amusing was the very beginning video, and the quest with hammerlock where he referred to the creatures as "boner farts", just because it was ridiculous and unexpected.

Anyway, that game really disappointed me, and i don't think i'll be picking up the third. Just too much dead space and boredom in those games. Story is very lacking. It felt like a stripped down version of Elder Scrolls with an attempt at humor, and none of the role play elements.

Gonna get a lot of hate but for me it is FF7

I used to agree, but I've gone back and played it recently (without FF6 fresh on my mind) and it is a solid game in its own right. If you let yourself get caught up in the story, it's a very enjoyable experience.

After the first time playing through I no longer grind for the master materia. I just cheat with a save game editor. Any time I get a new rare materia I switch it to a mastered version and it shortens my time to the ultimate master materia.

Meh. Replaying FF7 would be basically impossible for me. I'd get as far as Aerith's introduction and remember how ridiculously far-fetched it is and turn it off.

When you say introduction, do you mean the video clip at the very beginning wheres she's tending a flower?
Or when cloud finds her at the church and they get chased by Shin-ra?
