i dunno what's worse... the movie, or the fact that i watched it...

I started watching the film, but after the 3 "new jersey sucks becuase..." crack, i had to stop watching it, even though it was a free rental.( i worked at Blockbuster in my youth)

you like em young?

House of Sand and Fog

Synopsis: Everyone in the movie has their life ruined by the end: one guy is in jail, another guy loses his only son at which point he and his wife commit suicide, one family is torn apart because the husband cheated on the wife and is now in jail for shooting a child, and the other main character is depressed to no end because it's her fault all of this happened.

It's basically just as depressing as Legend of the Fall, except without the uplifting parts. Maybe that makes LotF worse because just when things are going great again, BAM your wife and child are killed, but for me House of Sand and Fog was worse. I just didn't see the point of the movie. That being said, the acting by Ben Kingsley and the woman that played his wife were phenomenal.

Striptease. That was the first movie I ever paid to see in a theater and actually got up and left half way through. No, I didn't leave until AFTER I saw Demi topless and toned up, but after that, the thrill was gone.

Worst movies that I've personally seen? Worst big time movie was the Royal Tenenbaums. Worst movie of all time I've seen, ties between Full Frontal & Timecode. Lets see, Full Frontal is like five boring and unrelated plotlines that only come together in the last ten minutes. Timecode, don't quite remember much about it, four boring and unrelated plotlines, and in this movie you actually get to watch all four on the screen at the same time! Screen was split into 4 separate camera views!!!

Stop watching movies you can't understand.

I understood it and still didn't like it. Actually I suspect that people who don't understand it (due to some form of altered mental state) would probably enjoy it more. It reminded me of a bad woody allen movie (and yes, I do like woody allen, just not all of his stuff) but instead of dialogue full of one liners it had characters with "one liner" personality problems.

Well unfortunately that is most likely the way it went down...
