At least watch the video you post. Its not even the same intersection. Its various ones. This is a collection of accidents caught on traffic cams and nothing more. I seen it before.

I'm sure in the US you can comb together a video clip of an intersections and find a bunch of accidents.

What you have is people have no common sense and don't care. they think they own the road. there were bike riders who completely ignore the fact that other bike riders have stopped. Some guy ran into a truck that was completely stopped.

for china its just small bike vs. big car.

I'm pretty sure Russia has them beat. Judging from the various compilation videos lights are merely a suggestion, and snow is no reason not to go 100mph.

OK, we have laws about texting or talking on the phone and driving here.
How bad do you think it's going to be in the country where they make all the electronics?

What's worse, is go watch the crash tests of Chinese made vehicles and realise just how bad those people must be getting hurt.

I don't see it changing any time soon though as it's a source of population control.

True story. My wife's company once had a Chinese visitor. They let him drive one of the company car. This guy stopped at a red light, looked around for cross traffic, then proceed while the light was still red. Go figure. And how did they find out? Well he got hit and the car was totaled.

Do you need a license to drive a scooter there? I doubt it.

They all seem to lack any peripheral vision whatsoever.

LOL, hilariously stupid accidents interspersed with flashes of human road pizza, set to Glenn Beck music.

Ugh. I turned it off when the bike with attachment carrying children was flipped over, and they fell out like peas out of the pea pod.

I don't understand why there are so many scooters just running straight into cars.

That's what I kept seeing. They seem to completely ignore the oncoming traffic and take the hit. Almost every hit was the fault of the person that got hit.

i just fast forwarded through some stuff

-a bunch of slow speed scooter vs vehicle crashes
-gore
-some car vs car
and a lot of repeats

i don't understand how the scooter hit that slow moving dump truck, it's like he wasn't looking forward.
There was another one I saw where a slow-moving bike rider hit a slow-moving scooter that should have been quite easy to see and avoid.

Looks like most of those vehicles don't have headlights either.

(or they just refuse to use them at night)

I dunno... a lot of the accidents seemed like it was the fault of both parties. Yea, the bikes/scooters often crossed the road without paying attention, but most of these cars that smacked into the bikes/scooters had zero peripheral vision and made little attempt to slow down and avoid the crash.
