Worst Black Friday EVAR!

I bought some stuff on Amazon. No real effort.

Buying from Amazon is annoying. They let you claim lightning deals, complete your order, but you don't know if you get the deal until they actually charge you. There have been 2-3 deals today where I claim them immediately, do one click checkout, and then be charged full price for the item.

EDIT: Let me rephrase, buying lightning deals from Amazon is annoying.

meh...I have never had a problem and I order from them a shit ton.

Wait...I take that back. There was once when they had an external HD for a lightning deal, I had it in my cart but didn't check out before the deal expired. Fired up their chat and they took care of me no problem.

I'm planning on doing 95% of my shopping there this year. But I refuse to buy any gifts before the week before Christmas. I like to live on the edge 🙂

Ouch, WTH.

Knifecenter is doing something similar, but not as outrageous. You have to add an item to your shopping cart to see the supposed "20% discount." 🙄

Most of the stuff I bought was just price matching of local b&m retailers. Games, blu-rays, and some other random stuff. Still much better than heading to the hell that is Wal-Mart.

Question:
If Wal-Mart is generally regarded as hell on a regular day then what would it be considered on Black Friday?

woke up
scrolled through black friday ads, said 'these deals suck.'
turned on dish, saw demolition man->predator->robocop on free preview - this deal kicks ass

I got a Roku 3 for $80 and free shipping straight from Roku with about 5 mouse clicks. Still waiting on that supposed $50 Nokia Lumina 520 cell phone from AT&T.

Last year I spent about $3500 on Black Friday. This year it's been about $9800 and still climbing, so it's been quite an improvement for me. Also bought an additional $6,000 in handguns and magazines this week, so the bills are going to be brutal.

I changed my mind about Black Friday. In addition to having a Green Day CD on sale Amazon has also discounted the "Go Pong CornHole Bean Bag Toss Game Set"!

My mother-in-law decided to go shopping last night at 10pm and stayed out until 5:45am. I would literally rather die than do that. "Shop on black Friday? Meh, I've had a good life. Make it quick." I just don't get it.
