it's pretty disgusting that ntdz thinks that 0 attacks in just 3 years is considered a success. ask 1500 or so families around the country and they can
tell you that they've lost a loved one. islamic fanatics find it much easier to operate in iraq and target our soldiers there rather than having to plan for attacks here in our homeland.

We're talking about terrorist attacks here, not just suicide attacks. Of those, 75/186 were by the LTTE. Also, MOST of those were done by Hindus. I don't see how Hindu's are free from fanatics, as you seemed quite irritated by mentioning non-Islamic suicide terrorism, so we can accept that there are loon's from every religion (except maybe Buddhism).

And thanks for apologizing, your childish manner is appreciated.

If anything, I don't see how Hindus aren't angrier. They have to deal with crap from Pakistan and anytime they do anything about it, everyone gets pissed as hell at them. As for your stats I don't know where you are getting those from. If there were thousands of suicide attacks I can bet that there were thousands of terror attacks.

Stop pulling stuff out of your ass and I will most certainly apologize. As for Buddhists not terrorizing just look at Assam, Bhutan and Nepal. Oh but I guess thats just a jolly, old party?

We are getting way off topic here. The fact remains that Muslims are involved in a huge majority of high-profile terror attacks. If anyone can refute this than maybe this is worth further discussion

I got this from a few articles by Robert Pape. The main one was "The Strategic Logic of Suicide Terrorism" in American Political Science Review. It is the August 2003 edition, I'm looking to see if I can find it on the internet. I don't see how my head is up my ass. you have to realize that before 2001. There was no "vast majority" of Muslims committing terror attacks. Since then, I would agree with you that a vast majority of terror attacks are coming from Muslims.

The Buddhist thing was a reference to Robin Williams bit about them lighting themselves on fire ... it wasn't a serious comment.

woohoo, found the link ... directly to a PDF file (a warning)

Maybe there including all Iraq car bombings and things going on in Afganistian...

They specifically scrapped all Iraqi bombings from the statistics to lower it in 2004, and these are the numbers without those attacks... With them it would be a lot higher still.
