Incorrect. Not boring at all. Hate them all you want though.
KT
At least I'll get to watch an entertaining Germany/USA game. The German machine will eat the US alive, but they always make for an interesting match...Machine like play with poised attacks and a stout defense vs the US "OMG ATTACK GOGOGOGOGOGOGO" mode they always get into.
Germany will clown stomp the USA team. It'll be a slaughter.
The US team might as well call it a day and instead head to those beautiful beaches while they're down there....
Though I'm positive that USA can take Portugal.Football is a simple game; 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans win
The football might not be as good, but I still enjoy watching guys like Messi and Rooney play for their countries.
That's just it, country > club, all day everyday. People are generally so much more passionate about rooting for their country...especially when you get to the knockout rounds. From a spectator standpoint, I'll watch WC games in a pub over league play any time.
Yes, when players flop and cry like a little girl in World Cup it's so much more heartfelt and passionate than when they flop and cry like a little girl in league play. When they're lying on the turf twitching like a flounder that's getting tazed you can see the national pride in every spasm.
I wouldn't bet the house on USA vs. Portugal, because the 2013 rankings shown otherwise. My poor Bosnia finally made it to the Cup but I have a feeling we won't last long. Maybe Nigeria is weak enough for us to get past them.
For USA, deficit is easier to beat than Germany. Gary Lineker said it best following the semi finals in WC1990:
Though I'm positive that USA can take Portugal.

Chile is no slough. I wouldn't count on a easy win for Netherlands.lmao...already done
as I say pretty much every world cup, FUCK YOU FIFA.
seriously. could you do a better job of fixing things to be sly?
England, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Brazil and Argentina practically handed second round berths
we PWN concacaf and get the worst draw
I know its 'random' but seriously.

It is going to be a blood bath in group D. All 4 teams have potential, specially Uruguay, Italy, and England.Group D will be tough, Uruguay AND Italy? The only gimme in Group D is England of course.
I think it will be an exciting game.I wouldn't be the house against USA vs. Ghana either.
Even someone that doesn't like soccer like me can appreciate the greatness that is the world cup. It's the only time I can watch soccer at all.
Brazil has been made a 3-1 favorite to win the 2014 World Cup it will be hosting.
The Brazilians remain at the same odds after Friday's draw as they held going into it.
Argentina is next at 9-2, barely up from 5-1 odds, according to the professional oddsmakers Keith Glantz and Russell Culver. Germany is 5-1, followed by defending champion Spain at 7-1.
The United States, placed in a difficult group with Germany, Portugal (30-1) and Ghana (175-1) for the first round, dropped from 60-1 to 150-1.
I said entertaining, not closeDifferent styles matching up is always better for my viewing.
I wouldn't bet the house against USA vs. Ghana either.
