C. Ronaldo would have a fair chance of beating the US with a high school team backing him up.

It's rapidly becoming a HUGE financial boondoggle. Several cities with average attendance at their soccer games in the hundreds are getting huge stadiums built which, by the way, are not likely to even be finished in time for the tournament...

They are burning such a big hole that it might impact their nascent economic power.
 
Let's hope they don't bring out those goose calling trumpets that they had in South Africa in the stands. Didn't watch it last time because of that crap.
