It's odd I don't see main stream media in Canada covering this. Maybe they'll get around to it when they have more details. Or actual story.

LoL because he decided to violate public health restrictions.

Jail time over public health restrictions is completely insane. Some people do much worse crime like stealing and don't even do jail time. They took this whole thing way too far the minute they started to fine, jail, and in some cases, even shoot people.

So killing your fellow church goers is A-OK in your books. Or putting them in hospital stressing the system further.

We are in year three of this pandemic and you still have your head in the sand.

Who got shot?

Yes. Not only did Dude violate the Law, he revelled in it and encouraged others to follow him. Fuck him and his Church.

How's that go, "For conservatives, every accusation is really a confession", or something like that.

My usage of the term "socialist" in the OP, effectively meant, "coercitive".

So in other words you used a term that in no way fits the actual word you were intending to use, because...reasons?

See its stupid shit like this makes me think you're one nut short of turning into Red Squirrel.

That "socialism" can have connotations of tyrannical abuse of the physical kind is based on a layperson's exposure to various entities that "represent" it throughout history. While the notorious countries were "Communist", socialism is just a milder version of Marx's brainchild.

The Community was at risk due to these actions. We have the Internet and Live Streaming. There was no excuse.
Even if the conditions of a public nuisance are met, there is still a matter of proving material harm done and whether jailing and/or seizure of property(in the matter of GraceLife Church and James Caotes) is indeed justified as a matter of law.

The Alberta Court of Appeals reversed for Tim Stepehens and Artur Pawlowski. Thus, the state is now open for suit for damages.

The situations can be interpreted as everyone acted like shit.
Enough for the state to exercise and flex using probable cause. But at least some judges along the chain knew the logic could be upheld or else the public humiliation would be just too obvious.

Don't fucking care. All Social interactions were restricted. It was done so not to attack this or any Church, it was done to slow the spread of Covid. This Dude/Church has No/0/not Any excuse.

The original story is a non-story, you won't find it elsewhere. Workers sign an agreement and then had signer's remorse. Make sure you know what you agree to.
My agreement is anything over 8 is 1.5x and over 10 is 2x.
We don't have mandatory either.

The real question is what happens if they didn't sign? Signing does not mean much as far as consent goes if you're forced to do it or you lose your job.

Apparently you don't know what a collective agreement is even when you are yourself part of a union. I think that disqualifies you as capable of making logical arguments about collective agreements.

Oh didn't realize this was signing for collective agreement I thought it was something separate they made them sign. But either way even when it comes to bargaining you normally don't end up with 100% what you want and voting against usually will be worse than just accepting it.
