My new work schedule has changed to working 4 days/off 4 days so I am only able to lift every 4 days. Will this affect my progress at all? If anything I feel that I am getting better workouts since I have the extra days off in between. But I am just not sure with that much down time between lifting will slow me down. Its also not like my days off of lifting are really all that easy though.

Shouldn't affect your gains by much. Diet changes will make bigger changes to your goal depending on what it is.

Maybe squeeze in a small session at some point in the 4 days of work?

That would be hard to do. My day starts at four and by the time I am home its nearly seven. 12 hours shifts dont leave much time for other stuff.
