I got approved for a few weeks of unpaid time off and one of my primary goals (besides resting) is to start the process of getting back in shape. I need to lose roughly around 50 pounds but if I can manage to do 30 in 6 weeks I would be happy.
I'm thinking maybe the best way to go is to have about 3-4 exercise sessions spread throughout thet day. The 1st workout (before I eat breakfast) will be 20-30 minutes of mid to high intensity cardio followed by weight training. My theory behind this is that the cardio and weight lifting will give my metabolism a huge boost early in the day. Additional workouts during the day will likely be various forms of cardio. Again the theory behind the additonal sessions of cardio is that each one will ensure that my metabolism remains as high as I can get it. So basically my body should be aggressively burning fat all day long. 21-28 days of that kind of working out will hopefully result in the lost of 30 or more pounds.
