but he is an admitted racist who wants the statues to stay.
Racism would then be his ox. He prefers to see the statues as meaninglessly useless to remove, but valuable to keep. They are meaningless either way. Their significance is imputed into them by the racists whe erected and want to keep them, and by anti-racists because they are racist symbols. . The long and the short of it is that the OP sees the irrelevance of something when it suits him. . They are not sust statues when somebody wants to tear hem down.is selectively blind.

Humanity is evolving and changing and he's on the losing side.

It's the fate of sacred cows. For humans there are two truths, the utter meaningless of everything and the infinite joy of being.

Humanity is indeed progressing, funny how we forget how we got here and how the people who fight the progress of individual rights think they are any different than their likes who fought progress of equal rights in the past.

I'm kind of surprised that racists still exist but what really astonishes me are the Nazis in the allied nations.

The shame they bring over those who gave their lives for the motto "never again" is inexcusable.

But that's probably just my self hate talking, eh? ;)

No, it's an ideological thingi, not based on gender or race.

There are terrorists among any gender, race, religion and nationality.

If we start to blame anyone for belonging to a group that terrorists come from then we are all terrorists.
I was kidding a bit. There is a difference, however, between blame and calling a spade a spade. I realize the tremendous problems involved in knowing what a spade is.

Sleeping machines can't really be blamed for anything. They do need to be held accountable, though, if they trample on other' rights,

I will say that if you were more aware of the nature of self hate you would be less surprised by the phenomenon of allied Nazis. I covered that in another post, somewhere here today, meaning I expresses my opinion as to its origin.

To become consious of how much we hate ourselves and how deeply suppressed the feelings are is the last thing on earth we want to happen. The ego is tricky and knows how to deflect. This is why the hero needs a guide to offer a magic sword and a polished mirror shield. The hydra has many heads and seeing them directly will freeze ones courage.

No you don't, you'll happily just sort them into neatly packed groups without individual representation.

You think you are very intelligent but the problem here is that you have your mind locked in on what you are asserting is real and it's not compatible with reality at all. You are ignoring humanity as individuals and applying wide ranging epithets even where they per definition do not fit.

I'd say you are getting dumber at an exponentially increasing rate and it's a damn shame.

Oh I do get it fully, anxiety makes people try to amend their self esteem by putting others down to feel better about themselves.

Your problem with me is that I'm forgiven, completely and utterly free of any all self hate. In fact, I'd say that is why you kinda hate me. :D

So what? Muslims are responsible for 94% of the terror attacks in the world, should we blame them as a group?

Why stoop to the level of the Nazis? What possible good are you expecting to come from this?

Well the op is some asian nerd dude with bed bugs but my initial idea was to make him feel like the other. He already is the other and just hates himself by siding with racists.

Ummm, so because the OP is an idiot you are saying that all white people are violent racists and this makes sense to you?

I'm fairly sure that wasn't your reasoning but considering your replies that is the what you are saying.

I'm also fairly sure that you don't know WHAT the fuck you meant when you were saying that white people are to blame as a group because a very small part of us are committing violent racist acts.

It's OK though, my friend, happens to the best of us. ;)

I find myself at my stupidest when I confront someone's assumptions. I do much better when I'm talking about somebody else.

What part of we have no right to judge others did I fail to emphasize. Not looking for a fight, just trying to get what you are saying.

You may also be confusing me thinking I'm intelligent with me knowing I'm right.

Probably that is a projection because like your posts and naturally like the person making them.

Going by your exact words does not require making assumptions and your unwillingness to admit when you are wrong does not mean that you are right, it just means that you are wrong but that you have too much ego to ever admit it so you create this alternate reality where you are still right even though you have to weasel around it by going "you didn't understand it" and of course, without ever explaining what it was that I got wrong.

We have every right to judge others, if we didn't then what good would empathy and sympathy do?

LOL, that is classic narcissim "can't be anything wrong with me, YOU are the problem" or as you fancy kids say "I'm rubber and you're glue, it bounces off of me and sticks to you".

This is what you have now resorted to, playground tactics.

And why? Because your massive ego cannot handle you being wrong.

That's more like it, I personally think that we have a bit of blame for the US being the way it is.

You see, unbeknownst to you we sent our social rejects, morbidly obese and retarded people to your colony and you through several generations of inbreeding you have elected Trump as your leader.

Sorry about that. No need for you bundles of sticks to be mad about it now though.

he doesnt hate himself? Damn he must be on top.
Well, I guess the important point for me is that self hate is based on the belief that we deserve hate, and every religion in the world was meant, in my opinion, to counter that feeling, to help us transcend that lie, so my guess is that he stepped right over his negatives via a religious experience. He may be what I would call a real Christian, if so, hats off to that. I consider that to be a valid path worthy of the deepest respect.

I rather thought I said that because I'm not really concerned with being thought wrong. The ones who look to have the biggest egos to me are the ones who have none at all.

Nah, you'll drag others into war like in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq and most of the time us Brits go before you even thou you elected the retards that started the voluntary wars of aggression.

In WWII it was a bit different though as the US supplied the Nazis until it was frowned upon and still sat by with their thumbs up their arses until they were attacked by the Japanese and had Germany declare war upon them... Late to the game and short in the fight but taking all the credit, standard US stuff. Bombing Japan for no reason what so ever and pretending it saved lives, standard US stuff.

And no matter what you say, you elected Trump... you lose.

Not a contest for me. I've no idea what I should be saying I have.. Do you think you are being a bit strident? I get the feeling you are feeling a lot of passion.
