IMHO...

What the author says is true of about 90% of women under the age of 25 in the USA.
That 90% whores around in the clubs, treats guys like total crap, cheats relentlessly on the BF and lies about it. Drinks heavily does drugs and generally is a slutty, stretched-out doorknob of a whore. There's a website devoted to these women; collegef*******.com You can figure out the rest.

THEN, you know what happens? That 90% of women hits about 27-28 years old. The Biological clock starts screaming.

Suddenly they move to another city, cut their hair, buy sensible clothes, start going to church again and meet some nice guy.

They get married, have 2.49 children, buy a doggie and her past is never spoken of again. Mr. Wonderful has no concept that his wife has been boned, teabagged, dirty sanchezed, reboned, donkey punched, triple teamed and generally treated like the only female in a cage of 100 male monkeys...on Viagra.

And they lived happily ever after. Until she cheats on her husband, takes him for all he's worth and turns his children against him.

Mr. Wonderful then has to work two jobs b/c he's paying $500-$1000 a month in child support for kids that he never gets to see and hate him anyway b/c mom turned them against him.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I suspect not, I remember a thing on BBC called "Secrets of the Sexes" where they got these men from this club of "ultimate seducers" or some crap and got them to talk to people for a while to pick them up.. most of the women were completely turned off from the "seducers" because they were just so damn slimy.

Is there any way to stop someone getting the hormonal changes that make them go broody without losing sex drive? i'm 19 and have seen enough to know I will NEVER want babies

.. it scares the hell out of me that hormones could essentially brainwash me into acting all .. nice.. and boring :S :S

Sure there are plenty of sh!tty women out there, but I've seen enough success stories and know enough girls very well to understand that it doesn't have to be the way the author describes.

agreed. if a womans out looking to get laid, or open to the fact, then half of his work is already done. if the woman is commited, he would be stopped dead in his tracks.

but no one is infallible, male or female. we really arent that different when it comes to motives, just execution.

I speak to quite a few men with the exact same story. It's just so unfortunate that in this country the laws are so scewed in the women's favor. Last guy I talked to had his divorce finalized with him having to not only pay child support but also alimony. I was shocked to learn that he was only married for 3 years.

Add to the fact that the men are villianized and the women are portrayed as "victims" on a regular basis in the media. You hear a lot about dead beat fathers, not at all for dead beat mothers.

Both men and women play games. As stated before there are players on both sides. I absolutely have no problem with it except for the fact that they are all liars (which is part of the game). For the most part women are much better liars than men. They are adament on protecting their reputation (of being marriage material).

I get a lot flack for not being married at 32 y/o. Given the high divorce rate, I think I'll wait it out until I'm absolutely certain I can trust the prospective mate.

I think the focus is wrong in this scenario. Say the guy has a 90% "success" rate with his picking up women, we fail to take into account the sort of ladies that this fellow is likely to accost. I agree he has a discerning eye, and he's probably pretty likely to gravitate toward the sort of women who would fall for this schtick. Look at the way they dress, the way they talk, the places they spend time in, the people they're with, etc. He makes a few good points, but his conclusions seem flawed because it's not like this is some random sampling of all types of women he's schlogged, it's going to be a fairly homogenus demographic, whom my wife, sister, mother, friends, and coworkers, and the majority of people that I know personally in real life cannot count themselves among.

I suppose this can differ with where you're at in life or what scene you're attached to, but honestly I can't fathom being very happy with a life like that. It's not what it is to be a man at all, unless you define a man by his weakness, faux confidence, and lonliness. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, that is really true. Dates, its like you always have to come up with something...you're suppose to be a mind reader and know what they want to do. And I think his theory about being able to dump the blame on you when it sucks is probably the reason.

I also agree with the rationalization of your actions after the fact. All people do this to an extent...but it seems like women do it as a matter of course in the relationship arena. I read an article this morning about how married women who cheat don't feel guilty, they all feel justified or entitled for various reasons. At least with men, they'll often just admit they're dogs and wanted to fvck other women.

I read an interview on the onion yesterday with the guy from Savage Love. He said the one group of people that writes in that he feels the most sorry for now are straight men. The week before he had an piece with two stories of sexless marriages, one where the woman wanted more sex and one where the man wanted it. He of course advised both of them to begin cheating discreetly, since repeated attempts by both to reconcil their sex lives had failed due to their partner simply being uninterested in even trying. He said he got lots of readers writing in, and in both cases they blamed the man involved. The man who didn't want sex wasn't attending to his wife they said, the one who wrote in wanting more sex was being selfish and should be more accommidating to his wife's suddenly slowed down sex drive. Sex problems were always the straight mans fault.

He went on to say they had a harder time getting sex when they wanted it, and thats why he thought most of the freakiest letters that came in were from straight men. He said something to the effect of that they were bottled up so it spilt out the sides in the most bizarre ways. I found his theory amusing, but his observations also seemed pretty on mark.

That is some jacked up crap. I hope I don't get involved with a girl like that. I see my friends involved with girls like that and they don't seem to mind, but if that was me, I would go crazy.

More of them than you think are like that. "He doesn't pay attention to me, he doesn't appreciate me, he hurt my feelings", whatever. Somehow the man's "emotional" offense becomes equal to infidelity, which of course, logical people realize just isn't possible.

What really irritates me is that THEY are usually the ones that push marriage, kids, monogamy, and stability. Then once some get it, and the corresponding credit/lifestyle, they start flirting; and now the man, the one who didn't NEED to get married right away and was comfortable with just a girlfriend, is fvcked financially and legally, even if it was HER infidelity that ruined the marriage and endangered the kids' standard of living. How often do men sue for alimony? And please don't post any of the 5 examples to the contrary, its obviously so rare that you remembered the one guy that actually got it. How often do men even get child support if they keep the fvcking kids!?

Sometimes I think its a $#@*% crime to be man with a penis in the year 2006. Equality is one thing, but its swung way too far in the other direction. If you want me, as a walking target, to BIND myself to you in the eyes of God, the government, and the IRS, then whichever of us cheats first loses everything! Let's see how YOU like being the man for once...
