Woman killed herself in front of my train today...

Was taking the train from NYC to Princeton, NJ, and a woman jumped in front of the train at the New Brunswick station, and got hit. Sad story, I wonder what got her to get to that point.
The train was commisioned out of service, and another train came to take us the rest of the way.

I'm sure the last thing on her mind is whether she is being mean or not by her decision. If she still had such thoughts and cared what other people thought of her, perhaps she wouldn't be in that situation in the first place.

Wow, that's selfish. How badly were you delayed?

2 hours.

What a bitch.

Wow - of all the ways to off yourself, I can't see jumping in front of a train being one I'd choose.

Seems pretty messy.

Not only did she delay all of those people 2 hours, but she just ruined someone's Sunday.

I absolutely hate people who kill themselves while risking the lives of others. If you're going to do it, do it privately. Very disrespectful and pathetic.

I think I'd go with jumping out of a plane with no parachute. That would be one hell of a ride.

Jeez that sucks. Seeing someone die like that is something that not everyone sees in their life and has to be one of the worst. 🙁 🙁

That would be the "killing myself" part.
(I would never kill myself)

Nope, I didn't even notice we had stopped (I was taking a nap). When I woke up and heard an announcement that we were delayed for 30 minutes (which ended up being much longer) due to a fatality, I noticed something was wrong 😉.

When I got off the train, I looked @ the front of the train, and I didn't see anything "messy," but I assume the medics cleaned everything up before. There was a guy on the platform that said he saw everything, and that the medics had already came and left and cleaned it all up.
