Was the interview for a job in a voyuerism porno??? If so, I think it's perfectly acceptable.

Pretty much if it's not for something like that then the husband, chances are, is trying to make sure the wife gets a JOB. I bet he's caughter her saying, yah honey I went to all these interviews and I haven't been accepted from any of them over the past year.

I know deadbeat wives like this. Chances are, she's been wanting to stay at home, mooch of the husband, and eat bon bons all day. He's getting her off her duff and out into the world.

However, I and an interviewer for most jobs would find that whole situations really, really, wierd.

I was just talking to a friend of mine and she said that a woman just came in for a job interview and her husband came with her. During the interview, he stood at the door of the office she was being interviewed in and watched... then after went in there and told her everything she did wrong.

How do you feel about this? If you were the interviewer would this turn you off of hiring this person? Would you allow this guy to stare into the interview and watch like that?

I'm shocked and appaled at this behaviour. This can't be normal ANYWHERE.
if i were the interviewer i would tell her husband to get lost or there would be no interview.

he sounds like an ubercontrolling dick.

as others have said i would not hire her.

she may be the best person for the job. but htere is trouble down the road.

how is that perfectly acceptable? if the woman can't go out to an interview on her own, she doesn't deserve to be working on her own.

Tragic. Never heard of a more inappropriate way to show up for an interview. She'd be better off bringing her kids next time.

If he wanted to critique her interview, he should have sent her in with a small tape recorder and then he could review it later.

I would not hire her because she would need direct supervision. Otherwise her husband wouldn't be there. I think I would also tell her that the reason she wouldn't be hired is becuase of her husband to make him feel like a moron 🙂

Sometimes it helps to read the whole post before jerking your knee...

I have to wonder if they didn't intend to take the job in the first place.

Sounds like a great way to get interview practice. Nothing better than a live fire drill.
