Im baffled.
For some obscure reason, Windows Media Player 8.0 (in Windows XP) refuses to play DivX 5 files. However, if I use Real One or the DivX player, there seems to be no problem.
The error I get is that "No combination of filters could be found to render the stream."
I am guessing WMP believes I dont have the codecs needed to play the failes, installed, when in fact I DO.
Is there any way around this? Any way of reinstalling media player? Uninstalling it? I could of course use REal One or the DivX player to play those files, but I do whant to know why this is happening, any help woud be appreciated.
Thanks.
