Ever hear of child soldier's. What gender do you think they are?

So I'm not allowed to be active in combating sexual slavery because there are other ways in which people have tough lives?

Are you saying that both genders are equally discriminated against?

Are you saying it's hopeless and we shouldn't bother with a hopeless cause?

What exactly is your point, darling?

I am saying that having a women's day and not a men's day is fundamentally discrimination.

Are you saying that both genders are equally discriminated against?

I am saying people seem to throw a much bigger fit when something bad happens to a woman.

Are you saying it's hopeless and we shouldn't bother with a hopeless cause?

What exactly is your point, darling?

That men and women both have hard lives.

Women have less power than men no matter if they are '1st' or '3rd' world (aren't these terms outdated?). Patriarchy is present all over the world.

But yes, I would imagine the glass cellar is more prevalent in poorer countries.

Is it being run by the Illuminati?

As upset as some of you kiddies get over a "Woman's Day," I can hardly wait for your outrage when you find out...March is Woman's History Month...

If you truly believe there should be a men's day, feel free to get active for your cause and make that change. But don't sit here and throw a fit because women decided years ago that the inequality was unjust and worked hard for decades to close that gap.

Interesting info:

"However, great improvements have been made. We do have female astronauts and prime ministers, school girls are welcomed into university, women can work and have a family, women have real choices. And so the tone and nature of IWD has, for the past few years, moved from being a reminder about the negatives to a celebration of the positives."

Goodness, they put clocks on stoves and microwaves so women can tell when it's time to iron the shirts, what else could a woman possibly want? :hmm:

lol okay, so you are saying that men don't own positions of power all over the world?

that women aren't systematically denied access to these more powerful positions?

Umm, do you know what the word "power" means?

Think about it for a minute, then you will realize what this is all about.
