Damn..you did that awake? Fuck that. When I had mine done eons ago, I made sure they knocked me out. Sure, it cost more, but better than listening to the teeth being snapped off my jawbone. All I remember is counting to five and then waking up. Best sleep I had in a long time.
I remember I was in high school when I got mine pulled out...of course my mom scheduled the appointment right before Thanksgiving because I had several days off from school and it'd give me the most time to recover, without actually considering that I like turkey, stuffing, and all the Thanksgiving goodies. They completely knocked me out for it and pulled all 4 wisdom teeth out. I was mad that I missed Thanksgiving dinner at the time, but am very happy that I did it then.
I had mine taken out a few months back. I was awake. All they did was use some lidocaine to numb the general area and the guy used some surgical pliers and slowwly twisted em out. Yep, I could hear the teeth being rubbed against and snapped off. I'm sure those sounds will stay with me for a very long time.

honestly i don't care how painfree your procedure was, everybody handles pain differently , and im simply saying my fucking teeth hurt even with medication.
but i forgot your just such a cool guy you have no pain and i bet you get all the women and have lots of money and islands on foreign country.

My 4 wisdom teeth and 1 rear molar extractions were split into 3 separate visits, with the last one being 2 days ago. Anyone else have their extractions split over that many visits or more?
Oh I know, I had all 4 of mine out and went to work a couple of hours later and did a 9 hour kitchen shift on only Tylenol. I guess everyone is different though.

Got all 4 of mine out, was good enough to eat solid food by day two. Just had to chew with front teeth and tongue. Luckily (?) I was unemployed and out of school then.

Got all 4 taken out at once. 2 had to cut the gum and go under because they weren't exposed yet.
Just got motrin with it. Day 1 was hell but my mom wrapped ice packs around my face the whole day. Yeah she had a freezer full of them. I swear I was gonna get hypothermia or something but incredibly the swelling was VERY light. I suppose it's cuz my face was an ice cube.
Day 2 sucked but I realized painkillers make it all better. Day 3 I actually decided to go to a lan party and game on. By 6pm I was in pain. I ate a little food and popped in some pills. Got better and then I went to eat steak. Managed to eat it without much pain. Day 4 I ate pork spare ribs. Yeah. Meat man. Painkillers = I can take anything.
Day 10 or whatever I was at college dorms and I ate some fried chicken. One of the fried crumbs went up the socket as I bit down and I almost screamed in pain. No blood though. It hurt like a beotch.
