Whoops, hit enter slightly too fast.
I just moved into a new place, and the cable jacks are in about the worst place they could be for running wire (it's an apartment so I can't go through walls, etc).
I was interested in setting it up wireless, which would make my life easier now and later in a house. I'm sure bandwidth will be ok if I set up a wireless network, but I'm a relativly competitive FPS gamer and latency/packetloss are a concern.
Anybody know a ballpark of what the wireless network would add to ping (from what I've read maybe 8-10ms, which isn't a huge deal), and if there would be significant packetloss?
Oh and if so, any good product recommendations aside from the Conventional Wisdom (tm) in Anandtech's wireless faq?
Thanks
