Whats the best program out there to skin my WinXP Pro? and for that matter where to get the skins?

I used to use Stardock I liked it work well and it has tons of skins you can d/l from here. Stardock is not free but it can customize a lot of things from the way windows open/close, login screens, calendars, skins, icons and more check it out. I recently reformatted my pc and have yet to reinstall it.

I currently use StarDock, and absolutely love it. I used to use StyleXP, but when I had running in "use no system resources" it still started up a stylexp processs every boot. Sometimes it would pretend it was God and use up 200-300 megs of RAM. When I got my new rig I looked around, found StarDock, and haven't starped harping on it ever since 😉

Can you explain why you want the Mac OS X interface? Why didn't/don't you just buy a Mac? I never understood this... (Not trying to bait/ridicule, honestly curious)

It's so annoying when people say, "If you like the Mac interface so much...then why don't you just buy a Mac." Changing a theme does not mean one needs or desires to change OSes. I don't use it personally, but I can certainly see the appeal of the Panther skin. Anyone with eyes and a little bit of taste has to admit that the Mac's interface is, was, and always has been vastly superior to Windows. The design is clean, well laid out, and the colors are subtle and pleasing, unlike Microsoft and their Teletubby-inspired themes and giant green start button. Now can we lay that question to rest... finally?

Well, I poked myself in the face and have come to the conclusion that I have eyes, and I did like those chicken nuggets I just had, so I think I've got taste too. However, I don't find the MacOS "vastly superior" to Windows, nor do I find Windows "vastly superior" to the MacOS. I personally prefer my own modified theme that looks nothing like either of the defaults. It is a perfectly legimitate question to ask, because if you dislike the MAIN thing that your computer runs (i.e. the desktop/user interface), and go as far as to modify to look like something else, would it not make logical sense to USE that other thing? I mean, I can understand if it's a money or a software thing (I have all the Windows software, don't want to buy the Mac versions, etc.), but I was just wondering WHAT the specific reason was. It wasn't a spite question, just curiosity.
