I am looking for a good tv tuner that records as well

this seems to be a good start - and i plan on getting one of these..

but what is the difference between the 150, 250, and 350?

150 is just a redesign of the 250, same quality but cheaper for them to manufacture.

350 adds hardware MPEG2 decoding, which might be useful if you want to do other things besides record and playback, but MPEG2 playback only uses something like 500 MHz of your CPU so not really worth it for most people.

The "mce" versions don't come with software or remote, they are meant to be used with Windows Media Center Edition and a MCE remote.

FYI, CompUSA is running a special on the regular PVR-150, and you can also find them in stock at www.PCAlchemy.com along with BeyondTV / SageTV bundle deals.

i think 150 is fine

it matches exactly up with 250

wonder why they cost more

250 is an older obsolete version, but still in stock at many places.
