Yeah, I'm worried our power will go out. It's almost a given the internet will. Hopefully with all of the warning, the power company has prepared.

I'm ok with the fog here in Central California. Snow sucks. Ice sucks. Below 0 temps suck.

Today was totally overcast all day - sun finally broke through the marine layer and clouds around 4:15, just in time for the sun to set.

Sorry to hear its still foggy in the central valley - yuck!

My city is still not fully recovered from our last storm, maybe the reason it's taking so long is that they did not buy enough milk and bread for the snow plow operators.

The snow has arrived in south central KY though. Maybe an inch in past 1.5 hours.

We had about 1.5 inches of snow so far and we're in a break. Supposed to get another 8-9 tonight and tomorrow here in Nellyville. It is not hot in herre

Busted water pipes don't show up until after the thaw. Fire departments will be running a lot of calls for busted sprinkler system pipes, as water flow triggers a fire alarm.

I have a really long driveway and gas powered blower hasn't been used for years. Don't even know it will start.

But I have an 80v backup blower, so hopefully that will be adequate.

And just to be safe, I parked the car at the end of the driveway so only minimal shoveling would be necessary if I decide to go someplace.

In the meantime, as long as the electricity doesn't go out, I'm happy to secrete myself beneath the blanket on the couch.

Somebody wake me up when it's Spring.

Kinda bummed. I hope their revision is the wrong version.

Tomorrow is a great day to be snowed in. The stores will be open here as everything is walkable, wings, an air fryer, and championship football. Plus battlefield 6!

They keep increasing our expected total. Apparently the Waffle Houses are closing, which is a bad sign. Had to argue with the GF to get her to go home early.

They have decreased the snow and ice total here in east central WV. It's not even snowing yet. We are now supposed to get 3-5" with less than 1 inch of snow and ice tomorrow.

The snow that does fall will get super hard and icy. Be a pain to walk on until you get above freezing temps. Which might be awhile.
