I LOVE this time of year becuase I can sit in the living room and watch people drill the high curbs on my street. I live right on a street with an intersection that bends and the road goes downhill. Just today we have two winners - one that is gonna need a new front bumper becuase he jumped the curb and drilled a roadsign, and someone that flew down the street and didnt see the stopsign I guess and drilled the curb on the other side. last year we had 10 give or take, so I'm hoping for some more enjoyment this year!

Live webcam plz? :D

I got an AWD CRV simply so I'd have a better vehicle for my utilitarian uses, and it's certainly better in the snow and mountains than my Maxima was. But that still gives me no right to drive like an a$$hole.

- Blinkers people! They do wonders for avoiding accidents.
- There is such a thing as black ice. Use your brain and look into what kinds of conditions are ripe for it.
- There's no such thing as cornering, in any vehicle, on any tires or chains, on the ice....use your brain or you'll fall off a cliff.
- When the road signs for the mountain passes say "chains only", they're not kidding. Chain up or find another route.
- Drivers from Pennsylvania, take another driving course through another state....I am convinced that Penn trains people to drive poorly as a joke to the rest of the country.

Ironically, people in Colorado drive far worse in the rain than they ever do in the snow....except for all the California transplants.
