Two buck chuck is Charles Shaw wine available at Trader Joe's. What are you eating with the wine? The old adadge of white with light and red with heavier meals isn't always the best choice. Another thing is that certain flavors go better with certain foods. If you are just sharing this with a girl, then I would suggest something light and sweet, like a Fetzer Johannesburg Reisling. You can usually get one for about ~7 bucks at your local Ralphs or major grocer. And beleive it or not, there is this wine label called Blue Nun. It is a German wine, I bleive it is is Reisling also, but not sure. Or you can go really cheap and go with a flavored white ziffendel, like Arbour Mist. Don't even need a corkscrew...

that red wind that comes in a gallon jug. cant remember teh name but everyoen here at college drinks it cause its cheap

Add another good find:

Jackaroo "Big Red" - 2001
Cabernet blend (65% Cab, 19% Shiraz, 16% Merlot)

Great nose right off the bat, with big blackberry and vanilla flavor, some oak.
Drinkable, low tannins, goes down smooth. Almost nonexistant aftertaste.
