Hey, if I wanted to buy a legimate OEM copy of XP Pro from Newegg, it says I need to buy it with "hardware" can I add anything to my order to make it ok?

Newegg needs to sell OEM software with a new system. TheOEM system builder agreement defines that as a harddrive. Order a new hardrrive and XP and everyone is legal. Oh, and microsoft preferes you install the OS on that new hardrive. Whatever.

Yep....AFAIK the only way around it is to slipstream it into the installation and use a keygen that's floating around...but we wont go into details here.

As far as I know, the FCKGW code is the only one that won't let you install SP1 (that is if you haven't changed the key). For how MS is going to bust your ass if you DO change your key, read here:
