I installed XP fresh last month, and installed SP2. The computer will randomly reboot and when it comes back on I get a "Windows has recovered from a serious error" I checked my settings to make sure reboot on BSOD wasn't turned on.
The error message just has some error signature with a buncha numbers that make no sense to me. Since installing XP, I have put on a few games, latest drivers for all my hardware. And a couple utilties, Powerdesk & Astonshell.
here is my setup
Windows XP Pro with Sp2
Athlon 2500+
Gigabyte NF2 Ultra 400+
Corsair XMS Pro memory
SB Audigy 2
ATI Raedon 9800 pro
Hauppauge TV card (old one)
I was having crazy amounts of BSOD's, so I reinstalled XP clean, I no longer get BSOD's, but now I get the "serious error" at least twice a day, which I don't remember getting once on my old install.
I have a screen shot of the error if anyone thinks looking at it they could help me.
thanks
