Windows XP booting problem
I am using Windows XP Pro (Athlon XP 2200+, 512MB Ram, Arcade GF2, MX400, ECS K7S5A Pro, Maxtor 7200RPM/8MB/ATA) and recently I have problem starting my windows:
1. It?s freeze when it starts opening the windows,
2. It?s freeze when I am in the safe mode
3. Also have problem rebooting to safe mode
4. Sometimes when I tried to reboot, it seems that both the CD writer and the DVD Rom are running (as the light keeps blinking) but there?s nothing showing on the screen and can?t boot it up. I cannot restart it by ctrl+alt+delete or not even by pressing the restart button but by shutting the power off.
5. I have taken the hard drive out and placed it on other PC, have a thorough check on the hard drive and it is not damaged. Have also checked for the virus, spy bolt and ad-ware and it is cleaned.
Could anyone please help me with this? Thanks a million!!!
