Windows error message I keep getting.

Right click "my computer"
Select "manage"
expand "Services and Applications"
Select "Services"
Scroll down to "Messenger" and right click on it
Select "Properties"
Change "Startup type" to "Disabled"
...
Get a firewall

ok, thanks for that tip. I believe that a laptop that was recently added to my network may be the source of these issues. This had never happened before I plugged in the PC to the router. Spyware or Malware perhaps? Wouldn't surprise me as the lappy is a loaner that I allow others to use.
