There is no way that anyone would buy "Windows". Clearly Amega is the wave of the future.

A windows 8.1 party would consist of half the room helping the other half navigate the metro interface

Had a suspicion it was fake from the start. The VHS distortion was over-done. Then I saw a motherboard with integrated sound and LAN...in the time when Windows 3.1 was released? No.

It looked like he connected the phone cord to a LAN socket.

Looks like USB ports too (deliberately obscured).

Just to add to that, PS/2 ports weren't colored until 1998. Never mind the fact that you probably wouldn't be using PS/2 ports in 1993 (they were introduced in '87, but uncommon on non-IBM PCs); you would be using the AT DIN connector since AT was the common form factor of the time.

I thought there was something weird about that too...

How come nobody remembers Windows 3.0? Or 2.0? Or 1.0?

He definitely connected a phone cord into a LAN port and as us "old timers" remember, you generally didn't have integrated sound, LAN, modem, etc. back then. Also, USB ports didn't exist when this video was allegedly made (they were introduced around 1997). That appears to be a standard ATX backplate, and ATX was not introduced until the mid 90s.

Pretty lame. It would've been trivial to get old junk to make it at least look real. Heck, I've got a 1997 era Pentium Pro workstation in the garage which could pass if I removed the USB bracket.
