I don't want to get into this war but I have a few things to say. First of all, your "problems" are all user-related. You don't know the OS and therefore need a little time to learn how to do things such as upgrading drivers. Second, Win2k is a BUSINESS OS. If all you want to do is play games, then you have no business using win2k. Windows 9x/Me are designed for people like you because they are compatible with almsot all games and they are easy to use. Windows 2000 is designed for business/work and it does that very, very well. Stability and security are the main features of win2k, not playing games. However, for those who know what they are doing win2k can play most games quite well. It might require a little work, such as finding game patches and upgrading drivers, but it does work.
I will not call you a moron, but I will say that you should have researched this BEFORE you upgraded to win2k. Now just delete win2k and be on your way... 🙂
